Catmasutra - Got milk?

Introducing Catmasutra "Got milk?", the other half of "Got light?" (see previous post). Apart from the fact that Angel loves milk, this painting is about the good things in life. It alludes to the highly successful "got milk?" campaign that saw celebrities as Elizabeth Hurley, Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba, Lara Croft, and even the Hulk putting on milk mustaches. Of course, if these celebrities can do it, then so can Angel but he prefers the goatee look as a touch of personal style... Haha It is one of the most recognized and respected advertising campaigns, and for a good cause too, promoting the awareness of the nutritional aspects of milk as opposed to the overwhelming selection of sweetened beverages available in the market. It is also about the freshness of the heart, as signified by the green apple. It doesn't matter what you do as long as it keeps the heart fresh, then whatever happens, there will always be hope! "Hope" is a strange thing and many of us take it for granted. The very nature of life is impermanence, and yet it is hope that keeps us thinking there will always be a tomorrow. Maybe it's about time we live life with a little more urgency and do the things we always hope we'll do tomorrow...
